HOTLIFE is THE most legitimate brand on the face of the earth, hands down. No corporate backing, No investor large chain garbage. There isnt a call center taking orders or outsourced printshop mass producing product.
HOTLIFE is incredibly authentic. High quality, limited edition, and collectable lifestyle brand, hand drawn, hand printed, packaged, tagged, and shipped by less then a handful of people. We respond to emails personally and do it all in house. HOTLIFE artwork is heavily influenced by street culture, real punk music, graffiti, d.i.y ethics, and the independent artistic mentality. In 2001, Mike Cortada, an artist well known for his contributions and involvement in the hardcore and punk community, began illustrating flyers and posters for various punk bands, and soon after, shirts and record layouts. Quickly he became the go to guy for independent bands and labels who needed the raddest, and most original art, since all his art is drawn by hand from scratch from the pencil lead to the paper.
After eventually working closely with larger more international acts, and designing for thousands of groups worldwide, MikeC finally decided to create his own personal brand and collection of art. He contacted his good friend and fellow graffiti writer Jared who runs the well respected DIY printshop, Leave Your Mark. After days in the swelteringly hot, Florida summer, in what was then an unventilated and cramped printshop, MikeC and Jared printed the first run of HOTLIFE designs, and it has only gained momentum since.
What makes HOTLIFE unique, is that EVERY design is HAND DRAWN, and HAND PRINTED by MikeC and Jared respectively, on the highest quality, best fitting garments available, and with the best most comfortable printing possible. Then we hand tag, package, and drive the packages out to be shipped. All run in house, by us to ensure its perfect. THAT is why HOTLIFE is crucial to keeping originality, and authenticity in our world of mass produced garbage.

HOTLIFE is about community, life, music, & subculture. Were about DIY lifestyles, thats why
we personally print every single product by hand ourselves. Draw every design by hand and create
them from scratch. We package and ship everything ourselves to ensure best quality. We use only top
quality HIGH END garments, like American Apparel, in many cases organic using ONLY water based/
soft inks. Ever worn a shirt and the print feels heavy and starts to stick to you when your out?
Our shirts will NEVER, EVER do that. They become a part of the fabric with every wash leaving you
with a classic shirt you can wear for eternity if you so choose.

The reason you don't see HOTLIFE crazy billboards, webbanners on messageboards and facebook, and commercials is because simply, we have no budget for that. We dont care about that at all. We would rather take the money that others spend on obnoxious, unnecessary ads, and apply it back into our product, so we can give out MORE free stickers, and MORE free buttons, MORE posters, and whatever else we can to those people who support what we do. We don't need a million assholes wearing our stuff, we'd rather a small amount of people who actually appreciate our efforts and art. We keep going because of the ones that care enough to spread the word and become a part of something real.

You're probably buying a design printed on some garbage shirt, made by some kid locked in a cage, that's
gonna shrink to some irregular size after you wash it, just about the same time that the ink on your cheesy
unoriginal design/catch phrase is peeling off the front. You know that shirt that you NEVER wear
cause you look like a turd in it, thats the one.
